George Vanderbilt is a Jazz Guitarist based out of Toms River, New Jersey with over 20 years of experience as a musician.
George has studied with some of the best guitarists in the music business such as Brian Betz, Tom Giacabetti, Chris Buono, Joe Federico, Gustavo Assis Brasil, Vic Juris and Jonathan Kreisberg. George holds a B.A in Music from Rowan University, and will have his Masters in Jazz studies from Rowan University in May of 2021. While pursuing his Masters Degree George performs with The Water Street Jazz Company, as well as Grace Note String Ensembles.
George is also an educator with 15 years of teaching experience. For the last 6 years George has been teaching Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, Bass, Music Theory and Improvisation at the Music Academy in Toms River, New Jersey. He also has some experience teaching through virtual platforms such as Skype. Some of George’s students have been accepted into prestigious music schools around the country such as Rutgers University, University of North Texas, and Berklee College of Music.
